The Farm
Santa Cristina is a single-estate coffee farm in eastern El Salvador, in the volcanic range that runs from Tecapa volcano to Chinameca volcano across the departments of Usulután and San Miguel — one of the country's most historically respected coffee zones.
The farm was hit hard by coffee leaf rust (la roya) during the 2012–2013 outbreak that devastated Central American coffee production industry-wide. The 2026 offering is the beginning of Santa Cristina's rebuild.
Our Marsellesa planting — a rust-resistant Sarchimor selection — is part of that strategy: a variety bred specifically to survive what took down a generation of Bourbon and Pacas trees across El Salvador. Our Geisha planting is an investment in cup quality for a farm finding its voice again after more than a decade of recovery.
We are looking for roaster partners willing to grow with us — buyers who value transparency, direct relationships, and a multi-year trajectory over one-season volume.
